To my Morning Star,
I am keeping hold of my promise, and I hope you are too. Well, no need for hope as I am very sure that you are writing a letter on your own as I write this letter only for your eyes to read and your heart to swell.
I am not good with pleasantries, the one where I hear people say or read when people write: "Remember when we first met all those years ago?" "Do you remember when we went to the play?" I am not fond of those kinds of things. I abhor them.
After all, we both know I am much better than that. Of course, I am saying this as I wouldn't be with you everyday for the next 5 years if I wasn’t who I am.
Gold certainly looks good on you, I must say. Especially on your ring finger. I hope you don't mind my indulgences, my vows to you are still my greatest achievements.
I surely hope I am still with you for the years to come until forever ends. Even after forever. I can tell you're rolling your eyes at how grandiose my words are, but they are simply just the truth from the bottom of my heart.
So believe me when I say this: I am smitten by you, Asteria, ever since I took a glance in your direction as you did to mine. I am glad fate has smiled and graced us with its presence.
May 5 years be more and endless, and the golden rings not lose its ephemeral shine.
Your Midnight Sun,
Lune
